My Nonfiction
I am an illustrator based in southern Maine, and like most artists, started creating art at an early age. There was always this joy of putting pencil to paper that I just could not shake. Ask anybody from my childhood, and they'll tell you that I was the kid sitting off by himself with a sketchbook and pencil in hand.
Fast forward a few years, I received a Bachelors from the Maine College of Art in 2008 with a focus in (surprise) illustration.
Primarily, I work with comics, caricatures, and coloring/activity books. Chances are though, if there is an art project out there, any art project, I'm willing to tackle it.
I like to work with a variety of media, but I do tend to gravitate towards pen and ink, marker, and more recently digital coloring.
I have worked freelance over the years, successfully self published a small handful of comic and coloring books, and continue to make art daily.
When I am not hunched over the drawing table in my studio, I love spending time with my family and watching them grow. They themselves are becoming quite the little artists, and if I'm lucky, sometimes they will create with me.
